- 2 lbs. lean ground beef
- 1 large onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 bell peppers, diced
- 1 (14.5 oz.) can diced tomatoes
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 tablespoon caraway seeds
- 2 teaspoons salt
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
- Add the onion, garlic and bell peppers and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Transfer the mixture to a slow cooker.
- Add the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, paprika, caraway seeds and salt.
- Stir to combine and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Serve over cooked egg noodles or mashed potatoes.
