- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Add shrimp and cook until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
- Remove shrimp from the skillet.
- In the same skillet, add the flour and stir to combine. Cook for 1 minute.
- Slowly add chicken broth while stirring continuously. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to low.
- Add cream, salt, and pepper. Stir until combined.
- Return shrimp to the skillet and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Serve over your favorite pasta.
