- 2 bunches Swiss chard, rinsed and roughly chopped
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- salt and pepper to taste
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the Swiss chard to the pan and cook until wilted, about 5 minutes.
- Add lemon juice, salt and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Serve warm.
