Sausage Ragù
Ingredients
  • 1 lb. sweet Italian sausage
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (14.5 oz.) can diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Steps
  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook sausage until browned and cooked through.
  2. Drain fat from skillet.
  3. Add olive oil to the skillet and heat over medium heat.
  4. Add onion and garlic to the skillet; cook for 3 minutes or until softened.
  5. Stir in tomatoes, basil and oregano; season with salt and pepper.
  6. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes or until thickened.
