Salmon Sushi Roll
Ingredients
  • 1 cup sushi rice
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 sheets nori seaweed
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 4 ounces smoked salmon

Steps
  1. Cook the sushi rice according to package instructions. Once cooked, transfer to a bowl and mix with the vinegar, sugar, and salt.
  2. Lay one sheet of nori on a bamboo rolling mat. Spread 1/4 of the cooked sushi rice onto the nori sheet evenly.
  3. Spread 1/2 tablespoon of mayonnaise over the top of the sushi rice.
  4. Lay 1/4 of the smoked salmon over the top of the mayonnaise.
  5. Roll up the bamboo mat tightly and slice into 8 pieces using a sharp knife.
  6. Repeat steps 2-5 with remaining ingredients to create 3 more rolls.
