- 1 cup sushi rice
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 sheets nori seaweed
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 4 ounces smoked salmon
- Cook the sushi rice according to package instructions. Once cooked, transfer to a bowl and mix with the vinegar, sugar, and salt.
- Lay one sheet of nori on a bamboo rolling mat. Spread 1/4 of the cooked sushi rice onto the nori sheet evenly.
- Spread 1/2 tablespoon of mayonnaise over the top of the sushi rice.
- Lay 1/4 of the smoked salmon over the top of the mayonnaise.
- Roll up the bamboo mat tightly and slice into 8 pieces using a sharp knife.
- Repeat steps 2-5 with remaining ingredients to create 3 more rolls.
