Slowly add warm water, stirring with a spoon until a soft dough forms.
Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes.
Shape the dough into a ball and let rest for 10 minutes.
Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and roll each piece into a thin circle. Cook each roti on a hot griddle until lightly browned, about 1 minute per side.
