Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup warm water

  1. In a large bowl, mix together flour and salt. Add oil and mix until combined.
  2. Slowly add warm water, stirring with a spoon until a soft dough forms.
  3. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes.
  4. Shape the dough into a ball and let rest for 10 minutes.
  5. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and roll each piece into a thin circle. Cook each roti on a hot griddle until lightly browned, about 1 minute per side.
  6. Serve hot.
