- 1 lb. asparagus, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 teaspoons lemon zest
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- Toss asparagus with olive oil, salt and pepper in a large bowl.
- Spread the asparagus on a baking sheet in an even layer.
- Roast in preheated oven for 12 minutes.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and lemon zest.
- Serve warm.
