Roast Turkey
Ingredients
  • 1 10-12 pound turkey
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
  2. Rinse turkey inside and out, and pat dry.
  3. Brush melted butter over the entire surface of the bird.
  4. Sprinkle poultry seasoning over the entire surface of the bird.
  5. Place turkey in a roasting pan, breast side up.
  6. Roast uncovered for 3 to 4 hours, or until a thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the thigh reads 180 degrees F (80 degrees C).
