- 1 10-12 pound turkey
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
- Rinse turkey inside and out, and pat dry.
- Brush melted butter over the entire surface of the bird.
- Sprinkle poultry seasoning over the entire surface of the bird.
- Place turkey in a roasting pan, breast side up.
- Roast uncovered for 3 to 4 hours, or until a thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the thigh reads 180 degrees F (80 degrees C).
