Ingredients
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 2 cups water

Steps
  1. Bring the water to a boil in a medium saucepan over high heat.
  2. Once boiling, stir in the rice, cover, and reduce the heat to low.
  3. Simmer for 18 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let stand, covered, for 5 minutes.
  5. Fluff with a fork and serve.
