- 1 cup cooked quinoa
- 1/2 cup mashed black beans
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/3 cup diced red bell pepper
- 1/4 cup rolled oats
- 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- In a large bowl, combine the quinoa, black beans, onion, bell pepper, oats, flaxseed, cilantro and garlic powder.
- Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for 5 minutes on each side.
- Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
