- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons pickling spice
- In a medium saucepan, combine vinegar, sugar, salt and garlic.
- Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and stir until the sugar has dissolved.
- Add the pickling spice and reduce heat to low.
- Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool completely before pouring over vegetables in jars or containers of your choice.
- Refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.
