Quick Pickles
Ingredients
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons pickling spice

Steps
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine vinegar, sugar, salt and garlic.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and stir until the sugar has dissolved.
  3. Add the pickling spice and reduce heat to low.
  4. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool completely before pouring over vegetables in jars or containers of your choice.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.
