- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 cups white sugar
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 can (15 ounces) pumpkin puree
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the oil, sugar and eggs.
- Stir the pumpkin puree into the egg mixture.
- Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just blended.
- Pour batter into prepared pan.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes in preheated oven. Cake is done when toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cool before serving.
