Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 (12 ounce) cans evaporated milk
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 12 slices day-old white bread, cut into cubes

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, cinnamon and salt. In another bowl, mix together the melted butter, evaporated milk, eggs, pumpkin and vanilla.
  3. Place the bread cubes in the prepared baking dish. Pour the pumpkin mixture over the bread cubes and sprinkle with the sugar mixture.
  4. Bake for 45 minutes in preheated oven.
