Pumpkin Chocolate…
Ingredients
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed light-brown sugar
  • 1 can (15 oz.) pumpkin puree
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg.
  3. In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat butter and both sugars until light and fluffy.
  4. Add pumpkin puree, eggs and vanilla; mix until combined.
  5. Slowly add dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips.
  7. Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
  8. Let cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
