- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- In a large bowl, mix together the warm water, sugar and yeast. Let sit for 10 minutes until foamy.
- Add in the flour and salt and stir until combined. Knead dough for 5 minutes.
- Cover bowl with a clean kitchen towel and let rise for 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out dough into small balls about 1 inch (2.5 cm) in diameter.
- Brush each ball lightly with melted butter.
- Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
