Pretzel Bites
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

Steps
  1. In a large bowl, mix together the warm water, sugar and yeast. Let sit for 10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add in the flour and salt and stir until combined. Knead dough for 5 minutes.
  3. Cover bowl with a clean kitchen towel and let rise for 1 hour.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Roll out dough into small balls about 1 inch (2.5 cm) in diameter.
  6. Brush each ball lightly with melted butter.
  7. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
