- 4 Portobello mushroom caps
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, oregano, garlic, salt and pepper.
- Place mushroom caps on the prepared baking sheet. Brush each cap with the olive oil mixture.
- Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes. Sprinkle each cap with mozzarella cheese and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve hot.
