- 2 large portobello mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hamburger buns
- Toppings of your choice
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Clean the mushrooms with a damp paper towel. Remove the stems and scrape out the gills from the underside of the caps.
- Brush both sides of the mushrooms with olive oil, then sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place mushrooms on prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove from oven and assemble burgers on buns. Top with desired toppings.
