- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- In a large bowl, combine the warm water, yeast and sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add the flour and oil and stir until a dough forms. Knead for 5 minutes.
- Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let rise for 1 hour.
- Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and shape into buns.
- Place on a greased baking sheet and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated 375°F oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
