Pork Bao Buns
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Steps
  1. In a large bowl, combine the warm water, yeast and sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add the flour and oil and stir until a dough forms. Knead for 5 minutes.
  3. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let rise for 1 hour.
  4. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and shape into buns.
  5. Place on a greased baking sheet and let rise for 30 minutes.
  6. Bake in a preheated 375°F oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
