- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 (14.5 oz.) can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 (10 oz.) can tomato soup
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- In a large saucepan, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain.
- Add the tomatoes, soup, tomato sauce, water, Italian seasoning, garlic powder and pepper; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Serve with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
