Pizza Dough
Ingredients
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 package active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 3/4 cup warm water (110 degrees F)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Steps
  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour and salt.
  2. In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm water. Let stand until creamy, about 10 minutes.
  3. Add the yeast mixture and oil to the flour mixture. Stir until blended.
  4. Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, about 6-8 minutes. Cover and let rest for 10 minutes.
  5. Roll or press dough into desired shape.
