Pho
Ingredients
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 4 ounces dried rice noodles

Steps
  1. Heat a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until softened and lightly browned. Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute.
  2. Add the beef broth, fish sauce, sugar, and coriander. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to low.
  3. Add the noodles and simmer for 5 minutes or until tender.
  4. Serve with bean sprouts, fresh basil leaves, lime wedges and jalapeños.
