Pecan Pie
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup dark corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 9-inch unbaked pie crust
  • 2 cups pecan halves

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
  3. In a large bowl, beat eggs until light and fluffy.
  4. Mix in sugar, flour, corn syrup, vanilla and salt.
  5. Stir in melted butter.
  6. Pour filling into pie crust.
  7. Arrange pecan halves on top of filling.
  8. Bake in preheated oven for 50 to 55 minutes, or until filling is set.
  9. Cool before serving.
