- 1 cup butter, melted
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup dark corn syrup
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, stir together the melted butter, flour and salt. Press the mixture into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 15 minutes in the preheated oven. In a medium bowl, mix together the brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Sprinkle over crust.
- In a small bowl, beat together eggs and corn syrup. Stir in pecans and pour over crust.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until top is golden brown.
- Cool before cutting into bars.
