- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 2 green chillies, chopped
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 250g paneer cubes (cottage cheese)
- 2 bunches spinach, washed and roughly chopped
- Heat oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds. When they start to sizzle, add the onions and sauté till they turn golden brown.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste, green chillies and coriander powder. Sauté for a few minutes.
- Add the tomatoes and cook till they are soft.
- Add the garam masala powder and mix well.
- Add the paneer cubes and sauté for a few minutes.
- Add the spinach leaves and cook till they are wilted.
- Add salt to taste and mix well. Cook for a few minutes.
- Garnish with fresh cream (optional).
