- 1 large onion
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3/4 cup beer or club soda
- Cut the onion into 1/2-inch thick slices and separate into rings.
- In a shallow bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper.
- Pour the beer or club soda into another shallow bowl.
- Dip each onion ring into the beer or club soda, then coat with the flour mixture.
- Place the coated onion rings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in a preheated 375°F oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve hot.
