- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup buttermilk or sour milk
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 3 tablespoons raisins
- In a medium bowl, combine the flour, oats, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- In a small bowl, combine the buttermilk or sour milk, butter and egg.
- Stir into the dry ingredients just until moistened.
- Fold in raisins.
- Pour batter by 1/4 cupfuls onto a greased hot griddle.
- Turn when bubbles form on top of pancakes; cook until second side is golden brown.
- Serve warm.
