Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk or sour milk
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 3 tablespoons raisins

Steps
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, oats, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the buttermilk or sour milk, butter and egg.
  3. Stir into the dry ingredients just until moistened.
  4. Fold in raisins.
  5. Pour batter by 1/4 cupfuls onto a greased hot griddle.
  6. Turn when bubbles form on top of pancakes; cook until second side is golden brown.
  7. Serve warm.
