Ingredients
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed light-brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups quick-cooking oats
  • 1 1/2 cups raisins

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, beat butter and sugars with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
  5. Beat in vanilla.
  6. With mixer on low speed, gradually add flour mixture; beat just until blended.
  7. Stir in oats and raisins.
  8. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets; flatten slightly.
  9. Bake 12 minutes or until golden brown around edges. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
