- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed light-brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups quick-cooking oats
- 1 1/2 cups raisins
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
- In a large bowl, beat butter and sugars with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
- Beat in vanilla.
- With mixer on low speed, gradually add flour mixture; beat just until blended.
- Stir in oats and raisins.
- Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets; flatten slightly.
- Bake 12 minutes or until golden brown around edges. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
