- 1 cup sourdough starter
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 1/2 cups lukewarm water
- Combine the starter, flour and salt in a large bowl. Add the water and mix until everything is combined.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it sit at room temperature for 12 to 18 hours.
- Preheat oven to 450°F. Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and shape it into a loaf. Place it into the greased loaf pan.
- Bake for 30 minutes, then reduce heat to 400°F and bake for an additional 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool in pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely.
