Mushroom Teriyaki…
Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup mirin
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 8 ounces cremini mushrooms, sliced thin
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Steps
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, mirin, sugar, garlic, and ginger until the sugar is dissolved. Set aside.
  2. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the mushrooms and salt and cook for about 5 minutes until mushrooms are softened.
  3. Add the teriyaki sauce to the pan and cook for 1 minute until slightly thickened.
  4. Serve over hot cooked rice.
