Ingredients
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 medium onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 (10-ounce) packages sliced mushrooms
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 1/2 cups vegetable broth or stock
2 (14-ounce) cans green beans, drained and rinsed

Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13 baking dish.
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add mushrooms and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes more.
Stir in flour, thyme, salt, and pepper until combined. Slowly stir in vegetable broth or stock until smooth.
Add green beans to the skillet and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 5 minutes or until the sauce has thickened.
Pour mixture into prepared baking dish. Bake for 25 minutes or until bubbly.
Serve hot.
