- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter, chilled and cut into small pieces
- 3 cups frozen mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a small bowl, combine the sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and salt.
- In a 9-inch pie plate, combine the berries and the sugar mixture. Dot with butter.
- Roll out remaining pastry on lightly floured surface. Cut into 1/4-inch strips.
- Arrange strips in lattice pattern over filling. Trim ends of strips even with edge of plate.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly.
