Mixed Berry Pie
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter, chilled and cut into small pieces
  • 3 cups frozen mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and salt.
  3. In a 9-inch pie plate, combine the berries and the sugar mixture. Dot with butter.
  4. Roll out remaining pastry on lightly floured surface. Cut into 1/4-inch strips.
  5. Arrange strips in lattice pattern over filling. Trim ends of strips even with edge of plate.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes or until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly.
