- 1 package frozen puff pastry sheets, thawed
- 1 lb. ground pork or beef sausage
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine sausage, salt and pepper. Mix well.
- Cut each puff pastry sheet into 3 equal strips. Place 1 tablespoon of the sausage mixture at one end of each strip.
- Brush the edges of the pastry with beaten egg.
- Roll up each pastry strip around the sausage mixture and press the edges together to seal.
- Place the rolls on prepared baking sheet and brush with remaining beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
