Mini Sausage Rolls
Ingredients
  • 1 package frozen puff pastry sheets, thawed
  • 1 lb. ground pork or beef sausage
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine sausage, salt and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Cut each puff pastry sheet into 3 equal strips. Place 1 tablespoon of the sausage mixture at one end of each strip.
  4. Brush the edges of the pastry with beaten egg.
  5. Roll up each pastry strip around the sausage mixture and press the edges together to seal.
  6. Place the rolls on prepared baking sheet and brush with remaining beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
