Meat Lasagna Roll…
Ingredients
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 cup onion, diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded and divided
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh oregano, chopped
  • 3 cups marinara sauce

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with the onion until the beef is browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in garlic powder, salt and pepper. Set aside.
  4. In a medium bowl, mix together ricotta cheese with egg, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, parsley, basil and oregano.
  5. Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  6. Lay out lasagna noodles on a flat surface. Spread each noodle with 1/4 cup of ricotta mixture. Top with 1/4 cup of the ground beef mixture.
  7. Roll up each noodle and place seam side down in the prepared baking dish. Pour remaining marinara sauce over top of roll-ups.
  8. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese over top of roll-ups.
  9. Bake for 25 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
