- 1/2 cup oil
- 2 onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 3 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 green chili pepper, chopped (optional)
- 1 cup frozen peas (thawed)
- 2 cups paneer cubes (or tofu cubes)
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the onions and garlic and sauté until the onions are translucent.
- Add the cumin seeds, coriander, turmeric and garam masala and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add the tomatoes and chili pepper (if using). Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
- Add the peas and paneer cubes. Cook for 3-5 minutes or until everything is heated through.
- Serve hot with roti or naan.
