Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Steps
  1. In a large bowl, stir together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, buttermilk and melted butter.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Heat a lightly greased griddle or skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle or skillet. Cook each side until golden brown.
  6. Serve with maple syrup.
