Maple Syrup Glazeā€¦
Ingredients
  • 2 lbs. carrots, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Steps
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. Add the carrots and cook until tender, about 10 minutes. Drain.
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the cooked carrots, maple syrup, salt and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the carrots are glazed with the syrup and heated through.
  3. Serve warm.
