- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 9-inch unbaked pie crust
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, eggs, butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract and salt.
- Pour mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
- Sprinkle pecans on top.
- Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until set.
- Let cool before serving.
