Maple Butter Cake
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a medium bowl, cream together butter and maple syrup.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time.
  4. Sift together baking soda, baking powder, and flour; stir into the creamed mixture.
  5. Pour batter into a 9x13 inch greased pan.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
