Macaroni & Cheese
Ingredients
  • 1 lb macaroni
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 cups milk
  • 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs

Steps
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook macaroni according to package instructions.
  2. In a separate large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour, garlic powder, and onion powder and whisk together until smooth.
  3. Slowly pour in the milk while whisking. Continue whisking until mixture thickens, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the shredded cheese and stir until melted.
  5. Drain macaroni and add to cheese sauce. Stir together until combined.
  6. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs before serving.
