Ingredients
  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup bacon bits
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Place potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix together the butter, sour cream, cheddar cheese and cream cheese. Stir in bacon bits and green onions.
  4. Spread potatoes into the prepared baking dish. Pour cheese mixture over potatoes and stir gently to combine.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
