Lemon Sorbet
Ingredients
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice

Steps
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar and water and bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice.
  4. Cool completely.
  5. Pour cooled mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
  6. Transfer sorbet to an airtight container and freeze until ready to serve.
