- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- In a medium saucepan, combine sugar and water and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice.
- Cool completely.
- Pour cooled mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
