Ingredients
  • 1 cup orzo
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice

Steps
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the orzo and cook according to package instructions.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic powder and salt and stir to combine.
  3. Add the asparagus to the skillet and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until tender. Add the lemon juice and stir.
  4. Once the orzo is done cooking, drain it in a colander. Add it to the skillet with the asparagus and stir everything together.
  5. Serve hot.
