Ingredients
  • 1 lb. large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons capers, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, or to taste

Steps
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and olive oil together.
  2. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp and cook until opaque.
  4. Stir in the lemon juice, capers, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and black pepper. Cook for another minute or two.
  5. Serve over your favorite pasta.
