- 1 lb. large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons capers, drained and rinsed
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, or to taste
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and olive oil together.
- Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp and cook until opaque.
- Stir in the lemon juice, capers, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and black pepper. Cook for another minute or two.
- Serve over your favorite pasta.
